Monkey Rag Sc. 10
Got another scene done! Its short, but its done! Also, just like a kid on their tenth birthday, I feel the significance of moving into the double digits. Scene 10... "Monkey Rag" is growing up.

My cat makes the most wonderful, intense face when she's cleaning her hind legs, and I am at a loss to try and capture it on paper. This is another attempt.

I was watching an episode of the Twilight Zone, and there was a close-up of an extra that really struck me. This old man had really interesting wrinkles- I had to sketch him.

Monkey Rag Sc 09
I included Sc08 with this since they're both so short...it feels good to be getting some scenes done again.

Today is much less terrifying than yesterday, but my Daily Crapbook is still sullen. It should get more cheery once I think of a good pun to draw.

I was sick last week, so that compounded my already heavy "art block." I never thought I'd get so distressed just looking at my sketchbook.

I've been sketching all morning and it's all crap! But as per my rule, I picked the least offensive one for my daily crapbook. Now to animate!

Sockey Pete and the CHBP Pickle

These characters were a commission from my friend Tim! He's writing a musical about a the 14th Street Deli bathroom- should be interesting to say the least!
