Where do you get your inspiration for faces? Even though the gender and age changes I still feel like I'm drawing the same person over and over. Got any tips?
Sit yourself in place where you can people watch for a while. You can get lots of ideas from any human zoo. Or, if you just feel like your drawings are getting monotonous: try drawing a bunch of different shapes on a page, circles and ovals, and wonky rhombuses, and then start sticking in faces in each shape. Play with squeezing faces into the bottom part of the shape, or stretching them out along the whole length, or just getting a face off center.
Hmm, I should probably start following my own advice with more rigor.. Anyhow, best of luck!

I'm curious. What kind of sketchbook is that in? I like that color of paper. Thanks.
The brand is called "Earthbound"- its all recycled paper and its pretty cool to draw on. It like very thin sheets of cardboard.
