I missed last year's chance to participate in the GirlsDrawinGirls show at the Chuck Jones Gallery, so I was determined to do something for it this year. This is my submission that I had to stop working on because at a certain point if you're not feeling it, no amount of nudging will bring it around.  But it is done! YAY! Hopefully I'll have time to do another piece.

Daily (?) Crapbook: I'm a Mom

I've been MIA more than usual lately because a little over two weeks ago I had a baby.  I know!! Crazy, right? I've needed all my time to recover from the marathon that was labor, and even more time to learn how to care for this fascinating little creature who possesses all power over my being now. When I find time to actually put pencil to paper, it will probably just be about baby stuff, so I apologize in advance for that.  So... here's the first baby thing I found time to scratch out when I made the mistake of looking into a mirror!
